Farewell My Friend

Thankyou for making the hardest day easier for us saying farewell to our beloved George of nearly 18 years in the comfort of his own home.Ian was so compassionate and understanding and made the whole process as comfortable as it could be.Would definitely recommend his service.

The last and best thing we did for our beloved dog.When we’d had a bad night and knew that it was time to put our dog to sleep we contacted Farewell My Friend that morning and he arrived at our house before lunch.He was so gentle, considerate and caring. Understanding how hard it is to say goodbye to your best mate.Being able to put our dog down at home, in our arms under his favourite tree made his death so peaceful. We were able to mourn without strangers around us and pass him on when we were ready.I cannot thank Farewell My Friend enough for making it the most comfortable as such a situation could be.

We had to say Farewell to our nearly 13 year old whippet, and we did so on her favourite blanket on the back lawn. Nothing makes that experience easy, but Dr Cameron made it the gentlest and kindest passing that I could imagine. I gave him five stars for the gentle manner in which he handled all of us, gave us space and time to say goodbye. If you do have to farewell your furbaby, this is definitely the way to do it. If you are reading this review on the worst day of your life, desperately trying to choose someone to provide this most essential and heartbreaking service for you, not knowing how to choose or what to do, then please know that Dr Cameron at Farewell my Friend is the right choice. Our dog was more beloved than family to us, and the way she passed was so gentle, which helped so much in terms of our emotional recovery. He is very professional, on time, calm and reassuring. He left us promptly to our grief (our wish) with no awkwardness. This man has the hardest job, and I am so grateful for his service.
